How to Apply DTF Transfers?
1. Pre-Press the Garment
Make sure to pre-press the garment for about 5 seconds before applying the transfer. This helps remove any moisture and wrinkles, giving you a flat, even surface that ensures better adhesion and lasting results. Skipping this step could cause the transfer to adhere poorly or wear out faster.
2. Place & Press
Carefully place the transfer on the fabric where you want the design to appear. Press firmly and evenly with a heat press, following the recommended temperature and time settings: 320 Degrees Fahrenheit for 15 seconds. Be sure the entire design area receives consistent heat and pressure for best results.
3. Lift & Lock
Right after pressing, peel the film away while it’s still hot in one steady motion — avoid letting it cool. For added durability, place parchment paper or a Teflon sheet over the design and press for an additional 5 seconds.
Long-Lasting Print Care
Keep your prints looking new by washing your garments inside out with cold water. Skip the bleach and tough detergents. When cared for correctly, your DTF transfers can handle 40+ washes and still look great — no fading or peeling.
